Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of the mixed race family of South London in England. Her father is Nigerian and Swiss and her mom is English. She was raised on a council estate located south of London. When she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned a BA degree in acting. While at the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions such as The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. In the years since, she's appeared as a guest on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer was her role in the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the following year, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. The year 2008 saw her was offered the part in the role of Bambi on the ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in series two and three. Madekwe starred as the lead character for How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy that was released in the year 2008. She has performed as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path, directed by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series aired in the US on The CW for only two episodes, but it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama, was chosen as Ashley Davenport. Following her appearance as a regular on the initial two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that she would quit the show following her appearance on the pilot episode from the 3rd season. In the television series Salem the actress played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe got married to her long-time lover, Iddo. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her parents Roy and Patty and the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball in summer and hockey during winters. Ashley could not walk but could dance. This led to the fact that at the age of 2, she discovered Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's passion for dance. Ashley continued to dance competitively throughout high school with top divisions like ballet, tap, Jazz and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and more. She was the top soloist in major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
